lollapalooza 2016: survival guide
We have been counting down the days to Lollapalooza 2016 at Grant park, Chicago ! We must admit that this 4 day event is jammed packed with an awesome lineup of musicians. It will be held on 115 acres in historic Grant Park, between downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. The main entrance is at Michigan and Congress, near the Fine Arts Building and a second entrance at Columbus and Monroe, near the Modern Wing entrance of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now you might be wondering, what is Lollapalooza you ask? WELL, it's a summer music fest that has a wide vary of musicians performing every year. What makes this fest unlike any other, is that it's been in affect for 25 years. It was first held in 1991 as a farewell tour for an alternative rock band Jane's Addition, it eventually became the largest festival in North America. Now do you see why Festival Goers have a sweet spot for this event? We decided that it was only right to put together the Ultimate Lollapalooza Survival Guide that can help you with entry, schedule lineup, aftershows, and travel.
As well as the Hotel Package! This one is great because it includes your entire stay, access to all eight stages, bars, water stations and park activation. Price ranges from $2,200-$9,299. Once you purchase your tickets, you will be sent a WRISTBAND. Just like most festivals this is your admittance into the event. You do not want to lose it! Once activated it should be smooth sailing. What's pretty awesome about the wristband entrance is that it also gives you the option to go cashless. Meaning you pay with your wristband! You just need to register for cashless!
Now that we have admission into the event it's time to get the inside scoop on how to get there!
